About Us
Omni is home to some very special Goldens (referred to as "our kids")
We are located in Sarasota which is on the West coast of Florida about 45 minutes South of Tampa.
The moment I met a Golden I fell in love with the breed.
However, I was still in High School living at home and my parents said "no big dogs".
So I had to wait...
When I got married and was living in my own home
I aquired my first Golden "Nugget".
That was in 1978 and I have not been without one since, nor have I owned any other breed.

I also served on the Board for Mid-Florida Golden Retriever Club in 2006 & 2007
We do have a small breeding program and are dedicated to breeding sound, healthy dogs
that are both beautiful and intelligent companions.
All litters are carefully planned and both sire and dam must meet
our requirements before becoming a part of our breeding program.
Among our requirements are health clearances on
Hips, Elbows, Heart and Eyes (eyes require a CERF exam annually)
